捡来的Herbie Popnecker

一眼相中，爱不释手。之所以说是捡来的，是因为原价49.95刀却被俺50Rmb一本搞来，全新，其中一本还是未开封的。抱回来疯查一统，发现还有第三本，暂时与其无缘呐。
前两卷收录了《Unknown Worlds》第20期, 《Forbidden Wrolds》第73、94、110、114和第116期,以及漫画《Herbie》第1-14期。

was an editor of the American Comics Group during its entire history from 1943 to 1967. He also authored most of their stories from 1957 to 1967, under a variety of pseudonyms. His most famous character was Herbie Popnecker, created with artist Ogden Whitney. He died in January 1974.

Helvetica
07是helvetica诞生50年，
英国导演Gary Hustwit专门为她拍摄了一部纪录片《Helvetica》。
无所不在的helvetica，用片中一开头的说法：
Everywhere you look, you see typefaces.But there's probably one you see more than any other one, and that's Helvetica.You know, there it is, and it just seems to come from nowhere.lt seems like air, it seems like gravity.
无论你朝哪里看，你总是能看到各种字体。但其中有一种可能是你见的最多的，那就是 Helvetica。它们存在着，仿佛原本就是环境的一部分。它们就好像是空气，或是重力。
lt's hard to evaluate it,it's like being asked what you think about off-white paint, it's just, there. lt's hard to get your head around something that big.

介绍了一遍，目的是为了推荐下面的文章。
不自己真正品尝一下咋知道这道菜是不是值得这么个吃法呢。瞅着别人说好吃，别自己吃着腻的都想灌肠了，您还举着大红围嘴使劲嚷嚷就是好就是好来就是好……说这盘菜好吃得google一下就能出来一堆，实在要是“环保从我做起”不乐意费那一壶水的二氧化碳，可以去豆瓣上瞅瞅评论。

之所以推荐这“不好吃的”的说法，是因为人家掰开了揉碎了告诉你这被供起来年过半百的玩意，其实是个山寨版的。不管作者到底该冠以啥头衔，人家以音乐出名的都能够把这字体了解的如此透彻，那些跟风标榜“设计理念”“视觉标兵”的是不是应该冒点儿汗了呢。
PS：想了解姚大钧的……自己再烧壶水吧……
听听不同的声音，都有收获。至于到底好不好吃，要不要沐浴更衣后再吃，还是看自己的“信仰”了。
